After the big success Amazon had with the release of the new Kindle Fire tablets that owns half of the Android market, now there are rumors that it is possible they want to enter the smartphone industry.

They started with e-books readers, then tablets, therefore the next logical step is the smartphone. The rumors say that Amazon is working on two different smartphones and one of them it is possible to have a glasses-free 3D screen. The retina tracking technology will be used to make images on the smartphone a hologram and to appear three dimensional at all angles. Another feature for the alleged phone is image recognition, which will allow the owners to aim the phone camera at any object they want and try to find it on Amazon s online shopping stores. These innovations will certainly put Amazon in a different area than the other phone producer companies.

After it appeared some rumors that Amazon will give for free their future phones by the end of this year, a spokesman from the company declared that the phone will not be released in 2013 and for sure it won t be free, but it is possible that will adopt a strategy that will permit them to offer it relatively cheap as a package or at promotions.

Some other specs about this much waited phone say that its screen size will be between 4 and 5 inches, placing it on the same shelf as the other Android phones.

To sum it up, I could say that there is nothing sure about the smartphone from Amazon, except that it will arrive in the next future and that it will be a really strong competition, therefore Samsung and Apple should start thinking of new ways to attract consumers to buy their gadgets, because, as we know Amazon, the price will be low and the applications will be high class.
